Learn To Be Adjustable & Teachable

Visit: https://ift.tt/2UUf5EI Connect with me on Facebook: https://ift.tt/10iPwjL Learn to Be Adjustable & Teachable You see i had this information that since England allowed Malaysia to be independent, there were 3 generations till now. So the people had time to blend and adjust to the required circumstances. And here is the answer - People were "forced" to become Teachable & Adjustable What that means is that people had an open mind , they tried to adjust in their environment and to teach themselves to communicate and solve their matters peacefully. Visit: https://ift.tt/2UUf5EI On the other hand , 99% of people failing to make money online is because they are NOT Teachable & Adjustable. That means that they are not willing to follow basic guidelines that are proven to work and are not ready to leave their Ego behind. So, they try to "fit" the advices & guidelines to their point of view...without understanding that this will ultimately lead to their certain failure... Experiences On Motivating People (CUT)

Visit: https://ift.tt/2DQO4Nr We, humans, are bizarre creatures, so much that we usually don’t even know what we want and this behavior also applies to motivation techniques and strategies. Going through past memories of situations where I used different skills to motivate a group of people, a couple of entirely different scenarios come in mind. Visit: https://ift.tt/2DQO4Nr The Fearless Leader The fearless leader scenario resembles more to a battle of “us” (your group of people) against “them” (the outsiders). I found this scenario working a lot under high-pressure situations and in scenes that win is imperative. An example of this was back in the days when I was working for a fast food chain called Goody’s in Greece. I was very quickly promoted to the store manager position where I had to manage a shift of 20 to 30 people daily and under a lot of pressure because that store was located in a highly trafficked area. I remember there were nights that we couldn’t close down the store to perform the daily cleaning and maintenance tasks due to the number of people who wanted to place an order. They would literally jump in from the windows and me, and my team of cashiers would have no other option but to service them. The distance between the cashier counter (where you would receive your order) and the store’s entrance was around 5 meters (where the patio and the street were), so something like 30 to 40 sqm in total. A usual weekend night would play out with our cashiers NOT been able to have a look of the outside of the store for 3 to 4 hours because of the number of people who wanted to order food and usually they would freak out (especially the new ones). So, I learned to motivate them by going first to the “battle.” I would frame the situation like “us” against “them” and put myself in the middle of the “battle.” All my cashiers would see me behave like this (as I was the store manager) and instantly feel inspired and motivated to come work next to me so “we” could win the “battle.” Visit: https://ift.tt/2DQO4Nr The Idea Pioneer I have been applying the idea pioneer tactic for the past 4 years, and the more I use it, the more I understand how it works. This tactic is driven by an idea, a cause that unites similar-minded people and the person who introduced the concept, the pioneer. A critical detail of this scenario is your first followers. It’s very crucial to wait until you find the correct people who will embrace the idea and run, for the project to achieve snowball status. Your team of followers will be the ideas’ evangelists, and all you will have to do is keep pioneering and maintain your evangelists’ spirit uplifted. So, until recently I had this idea of creating a series of live events filled with people who present ideas that can impact our world and engage in constructive feedback and dialogue, with the audience on these ideas. Something like Joe Polish’s Genius Network events but in Thailand and why not in South East Asia shortly. Let me introduce you to “THE IMPACT ROOM” which is still in the early stages of planning, nonetheless though our first members are true evangelists who genuinely embrace the idea and promote it anywhere they can. I really believe that in a year or two this event will reach to a level that you will be able to attend by invitation only… Visit: https://ift.tt/2DQO4Nr How did I manage to organize that? Here’s the formula I used: [a new innovative idea that sounds achievable (easy to explain)] + [bind the idea to the public interest (i.e. improving Thailand)] + [find the correct people (i.e. self-driven) and make them a part of the idea (sense of ownership)] = RESULTS! Closing Thoughts I hope this short article gave you a clearer picture of how motivating people under different scenarios works through real experiences and examples. Visit: https://ift.tt/2DQO4Nr

Negative Emotional Patterns & Roadblocks

Visit: https://ift.tt/2xEf5yX We all have them, but only some of us can identify them and break through or remove them. I guess by now you know that our emotions arise in patterns, most of the times. These patterns were installed to us by our family, friends, social networks, the media and so on. It might be easy to recall memories of an emotional reaction, you had in the past, that with hindsight looks like you were taken over by “something.” It felt like your reaction wasn’t you but “someone else,” like you were possessed by something. ENTER EMOTIONAL PATTERNS. This feeling is what happens when we are overtaken by a negative emotional pattern, and it’s usually way too complicated to recognize it unless you have been consciously practicing mindfulness. Similar to our emotional patterns, there are our emotional roadblocks. Things or decisions that we absolutely deny of going through in our life, with usually no apparent explanation. As it appears, these are usually emotional roadblocks, remnants of something that traumatized us in the past. .......................... Visit: https://ift.tt/2xEf5yX ......................... Phew…that was a long one. So here you have it. You just read some of my negative emotional patterns and roadblocks and how I’m managing them (if at all…) Am I feeling more emotionally intelligent, with higher EQ (or whatever that means…)? Mehhhh, maybe…maybe not. Now is your time to sit down and search deep inside yourself. Start noticing and keep some reminders about your negative emotional patterns and roadblocks. Become aware of them and you are already half-way there… Visit: https://ift.tt/2xEf5yX

Competitiveness: The Secret Behind Motivation

Visit: https://ift.tt/2C2QyIH I’m from the people who don’t believe in motivation. You can’t motivate people, but only influence them and make them feel enthusiasm for the little time period that this emotion will last. Motivation is something that comes from inside and either you have it or not (and in that case you need to keep searching for what motivates you). Visit: https://ift.tt/2C2QyIH THE STORY OF A BOY THAT TURNED OUT TO BE HIGHLY COMPETITIVE I remember, since I was a young boy, I was always involved in sports activities like football, basketball, bicycling, video games, desktop games and go-karting. All of them highly competitive. The other teens from the neighborhood and I would set up football “fields” almost anywhere using plastic bottles as “balls,” compete in bicycling in dangerous streets with no lights and car traffic and playing basketball till late at night under the rain. And I just had to win…there was no other result. I would do everything possible (and impossible) for my team to win, like delaying, repeating games, cheating in the score and even playing hard to the point of injury. It was like a fight to me, and I wouldn’t mind sending you to the hospital, to win. This extreme competitiveness would continue even within my family members where I would get in gruesome fights, which would end up punching each other on the face, with my brother. Although I was kind, polite and respected my friends, in the game, I was extremely competitive. Visit: https://ift.tt/2C2QyIH ENTER COMPETITIVENESS: THE SECRET BEHIND MOTIVATION This behavior continued throughout my life till today, where I can better control it and usually avoid accepting challenges I know that will bring up my negative side. However, what I recently understood was that this extreme competitiveness helped me reach where I am right now. I could never work as an employee or grow in a structured environment because I always try to become better and overthrow the boss, the director or whoever is at the top of the system. For me, everything was a competition, but nowadays I can point my competitiveness to help me develop in business, in knowledge, in wealth and in relationships. Competitiveness is what drives people to become better in the area of their choice. You see people in your neighborhood who are wealthier and have a better lifestyle than you and you want to have this. You are being competitive. You see people in the gym who are fit, and their body looks like out of a magazine, and you want to have this for yourself. You are being competitive. You see people who are more successful than you in business, in your company or with their relationships and you want to have that. You are being competitive. Competitiveness is the secret spark behind motivation. – Vasilis Stergiou Visit: https://ift.tt/2C2QyIH

Mentoring in NOT for you...

Visit: https://ift.tt/2MQLecc And this includes both sides, mentors, and mentees. But why? Why would I claim that mentoring is not for you? You see, it’s not that simple… It’s definitely not a push-button solution, and each mentor-mentee relationship has a great chance to fail if you don’t understand yourself, first and foremost. I recently had a mentoring engagement with an excellent example of a mentee. She was so motivated and ambitious to achieve her goals that, that alone gave me more energy to mentor her as best as I possibly could. However, things were not always that good in past mentoring engagements with mentees who weren’t that much interested about their own goals or didn’t fit my style of communication…and eventually, we had to drop it. Visit: https://ift.tt/2MQLecc Critical elements of a mentoring relationship 1. Intentionality on both sides. Usually what happens is either the mentee or mentor will commit to a relationship they never clearly understood in the first and as a result, the frequency of interaction during the early months of the engagement will fade out. Very often mentors are so busy that they may commit to mentoring somebody and then never follow through. A mentor who never responds can be very harmful because he or she may unintentionally convey to the mentee that they are not that worthy or significant. 2. Not aligned expectations. Often times the mentor and mentee don’t work to align their expectations in regards with: * what the relationship is going to be about * what functions a mentor is going to provide * how are they going to work together * what the mentor’s role will be in the life of the mentee * how often they are going to meet Visit: https://ift.tt/2MQLecc What can improve the situation of a problematic mentoring relationship? First and foremost, both parties need to be transparent and communicate, the reasons, clearly. The mentor should consider if this engagement is something that he or she is interested to further pursue, in regards to the mentee relationship. Often the mentor is very busy and commits to something he or she is not able to undertake, self-awareness is necessary. The mentee on the other side should consider if he or she is really committed in the end result they are looking to obtain, from having a mentor. Or if the mentor he or she chose is the right person for that engagement. Visit: https://ift.tt/2MQLecc How to engage in mentoring relationships, with people who are different from you? Usually, most experts recommend humility when you are involved in a mentorship relationship with differences in gender, differences in race, culture, sexual orientation. You need to be really careful about approaching someone with a different set of experiences from your own. On the other hand, it’s your own choice to make, and you can always decline a mentorship engagement if you feel that it’s something you don’t want to understand or invest time into. Mentor or mentee, make sure you are 100% devoted to the relationship you are starting. Visit: https://ift.tt/2MQLecc

(Net)working is broken...

Visit: https://ift.tt/2zAlFdo I couldn’t agree more. In fact, networking is not suitable for most of us, but not for the reasons you would think. Let me explain. The problem appears by our definition or the meaning we attribute to the word “networking”. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Here’s a story that will help you understand more. Visit: https://ift.tt/2zAlFdo * Part-1: (Net)working 2013 to 2014 I was trying to build my network marketing business online. Studied everything to the “t” and followed the top earners’ teachings religiously. Rule #1: Network with as many people as you can through Facebook groups and other social media. Try to connect and chat with them to create a relationship. Present yourself as an expert (about the product/service) but don’t try to sell anything. If you’ve built a relationship, people will buy from you because they trust you. Tried that…many times, many hours, many days with hundreds of different people from all kinds of countries where people speak English. * The Results A shit-load of rejections, threats, negative reputation, a messed up Facebook profile and very little money earned. * Why? Well, duh…(it’s not rocket science) How could I make someone trust me and invest their money with me if I can’t meet them live? How could I feel their energy and “decode” all this body tells each, and every one of us has, that makes us worth trusted or not? Dropped it… (Net)working is not for me and maybe not for you too. Visit: https://ift.tt/2zAlFdo * Part-2: Networking 2011 to 2013 I was working as an insurance sales agent to build my income. Again, studied everything to the “t” and followed the top earners’ teachings religiously. Rule #1: Network with as many people as you can through events and gatherings. Try to connect and follow-up with them to create a relationship. Present yourself as an expert (about insurance problems) but don’t try to sell anything. If you’ve built a relationship, people will buy from you because they trust you. Tried that too, but with different results. I networked through events and followed-up with new connections. I hit up strangers passing by on the street and went door-to-door to meet small business owners. * The Results A boat-load of approvals, respectful friends, people who really cared for and trusted me with their whole belongings and an award for Best Rookie Sales Agent of the year 2012 in my office. * Why? Well, duh…(again) I could understand what the people I was talking with felt during our conversations. Their needs, their wants, their dreams, and aspirations. I could feel their energy, their approval or disapproval, their pain points and I could adjust my discussion accordingly. Funny part? Dropped it…but for different reasons. Networking is for me and maybe for you too. Visit: https://ift.tt/2zAlFdo

Please STOP This Presentation Torture

Visit: https://ift.tt/2tcHg5N Have you ever been tortured by a Powerpoint presentation? I got recently, and I really couldn’t believe it! The speaker was so ridiculously empty and annoying that I felt sleepy on a subject I’m passionate about. The Powerpoint presentation? You don’t want to know…The graphics were quality from the 80’s (no kidding) mixed with all the rainbow colors possible. I admit it, I left the presentation about 5 minutes in. Why are you doing this to us? Why do you even stand up to speak without caring not even a little bit about your audience? Seems too selfish to me. Visit: https://ift.tt/2tcHg5N Follow These Tips To Dramatically Improve Your Next Presentation Doing only one search on this thing called “Google”, I came up to this great presentation techniques compiled by Team Treehouse. Write them one hundred times and pin them next to your computer if it makes it easier to remember. 1. Rehearse 2. Don’t repeat what is written on your slides 3. Don’t overload your slides 4. Make eye contact 5. Know your audience 6. Move around 7. Don’t read the script 8. Slow down 9. Make ’em laugh 10. Be passionate and energetic Visit: https://ift.tt/2tcHg5N My personal addition: CARE ABOUT YOUR AUDIENCE Most new presenters forget this specific trait, the moment they begin their presentation. It’s like the whole world reveals around them, they are the experts, and the audience must oblige and give them all their focus. I’m afraid to break it up to you, but it doesn’t work like this. Your audience will be put off because they will feel like you only care about you and your presentation, instead of them. Remember, it’s all about your audience, customers, users or whoever you want to influence. That’s my two cents on death by powerpoint. Use it for yours and your audience’s benefit. Mentors & Influencers

Visit: https://ift.tt/2LOa5gq Influencers or Mentors? What is the right word? You see, usually what happens throughout our life is us getting influenced by culture, our families, the people we hang out with and the current situation of our location. These collective experiences are what shapes us to be who we are right now. But is that mentoring? I wouldn’t call it like this. Then there are those of us who love attending personal-development events and buy online courses or join webinars, listening some expert coaching us on a particular subject. Visit: https://ift.tt/2LOa5gq Here’s an example of mentoring from my life When I still was in Greece, and for many years I was passionate and deeply involved with racing Go-Karts. I can say that this is a passion I inherited from my father which is passionate about car racing. Almost every weekend was a ritual. I would drive to my family’s house on Saturdays to clean and prepare my Go-Kart, and my father would stay with me at all times to help me with the mechanics. Then on Sunday morning we would load the Go-Kart on the trolley and take it to the racing track. There my father was my engineer, fixing, repairing and teaching me how everything works while I was driving. I can say that this was a real mentoring situation, unknowingly taking place. Email Marketing Forum Presentation: Bangkok, Thailand

Visit our website for the full powerpoint presentation: https://ift.tt/2rzxf1J BUT EMAIL IS DEAD! ISN’T IT? Yes, I have heard this phrase more than a thousand of times, and I guess you have heard it the same. The cold truth though is that of all the marketing techniques available; email marketing is often ranked as the top contributor to a successful digital strategy. Here’s why: -- EMAIL OFFERS AN UNBEATABLE ROI Research shows email marketing generates $44 for every $1 spent and some companies see an ROI as high as $76 for every $1 spent. -- EMAIL TIES ALL OF YOUR MARKETING TECHNIQUES TOGETHER Are you creating content for your blog? Share it with your subscribers via email. Maybe you are launching a new service/solution? Invite customers to join with an email invitation. -- EMAIL MESSAGES HAVE A LONGER LIFESPAN THAN SOCIAL POSTS Your tweet lasts for mere minutes and then disappears into the feed abyss never to be found again. An email is different. It gets prominent placement in an inbox and is easy to reference later on. Moreover, there are many more reasons that email marketing is not dead, I could go on for the next three to four pages. However, there is something I wanted to emphasize. Every email that you send, there is a real human being that will read it behind the screen. A real human being like you and me, with needs and wants. Making It Through Hard Choices In Life - Ryan Gomez Interview

Visit: http://9nl.es/video Connect with me on Facebook: http://ift.tt/10iPwjL How To Make It Through The Hard Times Of Becoming An Entrepreneur The past couple of years, I begun to carefully select my peers. In addition I begun participating in business groups and startup events to meet similar minded people (which is one of the most important steps to take as an entrepreneur in my opinion). What I discovered was interesting. Every growing entrepreneur, speaker, author, coach etc had an ugly story to confess. On the contrary the ones who didn’t – you could pretty much “understand” that they will soon be out of the game… Here is an example, Ryan Gomez – Leadership Trainer, Author & Public Speaking Coach around Australia & Asia. Watch what he has to say about the hard choices he had to make… For More News & Blog Posts Visit : http://theVasilis.com Ryan reached to a point that people thought he would become a drug addict and die alone at some small street alley. But he chose a better future for him and his family! He emerged through ashes reborn and it took him 5 years of hard work to reach at the level he is now. I remember when I made the decision to flee from Greece, for a better life and more opportunities. I came in Thailand with no more than $1,000, no flight ticket to go back, not knowing the language, not even been here before once in my life. There was no plan-B for me because I organized it like this on purpose. The game was either I make it, or my embassy would have to call my family and give them bad news. After 3 months the local banks closed because of a coup and consequently I couldn’t receive any money. As a result I couldn’t buy food or drinkable water. It was rock bottom! The funny part is that my bungalow was near some banana and mango trees and I was eating fruits from these trees for a couple of days… Author : http://ift.tt/1lVzHJO Youtube Url : http://youtu.be/aUD9KLyOo8I You Just Watched : How To Make It Through The Hard Times Of Becoming An Entrepreneur Blog Post : http://ift.tt/2dJsJ8Q

How To Enhance Your Digital Products With Tangible Value

Visit: http://9nl.es/video Connect with me on Facebook: http://ift.tt/10iPwjL How To Enhance Your Digital Products With Tangible Value In this video you are going to discover a secret strategy to enhance your digital products with real – tangible value that will increase your conversions and sales. Whenever you are interacting with another human being, there is a lot of loss of information. One of the things that “we” do, that I find really weird and interesting, is that “we” humans – we take a whole bunch of associations, ideas, experiences, meanings and we assign sounds and symbols to them, which we call words. Then we send them back and forth to each other by vibrating our voice box, which vibrates the air and then it vibrates the inner ear of the other human. We decode these things and somehow – miraculously we communicate with each other. It’s miraculous that any of it gets across but the illusion is that most of it is getting across. In reality, almost none of it is getting across. For More News & Blog Posts Visit : http://theVasilis.com When we are selling information we have to play a trick which is we’re using information so we can kinda never show them the billboard. Yet we still have to show them the billboard. The way that we do that, is we keep ourselves always focused on the real world. Everything need to be anchored to the real world. Everything has to come back to something tangible – specific – external – measurable. If we can stick with those things that they are concerned about, that trigger irrational and emotional responses then we’ve got a lot of power. There is always something in the real world that the mind can use as an anchor, something that makes it tangible for real. We never want to talk about abstract things by themselves. We want to avoid that when we are creating information products, content and coaching. What we want to do is keep them anchored to the real world, we want to show them the billboard.
